It's official! Our CD release show will be March 31, 2012 at the legendary 31st St. Pub. Joining us will be our buds from Akron, MOCKINGBIRD and crushing locals, OCTOBER.

We'll be heading to Columbus, Ohio for our last show of 2011 with friends Before The Eye Wall and Traitors Return To Earth on December 10th at Ace of Cups.

Erb wrapped up vocals this past weekend in Akron, OH and then mixing will ensue. Looking at a February 2012 release on Innervenus. The title for the CD is "Oblivious To Ruin" and some of the artwork/design for the packaging can be seen on our Facebook page.

We are playing one more Pittsburgh show before the end of 2011. Joining us will be Rue, Rebreather and Sistered at Howlers Coyote Cafe on November 4th. Rue will be celebrating the release of their new album, "Thorns". Going to be a heavy one for sure.

Recording Almost Complete

We completed recording the music for all 7 songs this weekend at Colfax Alley Studios in Akron, OH with Complete Failure's James Curl. Vocals are finished on 3 of the tracks with the completion of the remaining 4 coming within the next couple of weeks. To keep the raw and gritty sound, the music was recorded live as we did with the track "Prick of Misery" which appears on the "Iron Atrocity Vol. I" compilation. The working title for the album is "Oblivious To Ruin".

The 16 band, 24 page booklet and random goodies (stickers), all Pittsburgh metal compilation is out now! The physical cd is available from all of the participating bands and a digital download is also available for FREE at http://www.innervenus.org/iron-atrocity

We will have the physical copy available at our show this Saturday at the Smiling Moose with Bongripper and Derketa. The cd is FREE with a purchase of a Vulture t-shirt. Hey, we need scratch for our new recording dammit!

July Shows & Recording

Two unbelievable shows in July with BONGRIPPER(devastating sludge from Chicago)and death-doom merchants, DERKETA at The Smiling Moose on Saturday, July 9th. The following week, Thursday July 14th at 31st St. Pub, SOURVEIN (Ghetto sludge from Cape Fear, NC)and October.

We are heading in the studio with James Curl (Complete Failure) in Akron, OH the weekend of August 5th. Hope to have a couple of more songs written before then.

June Show

Our next show will be in Wheeling, WV at Yesterday's Draught House & Stage on June 17th. Joining us will be Mockingbird (Ohio), DeathCrawl (Ohio), Bridesmaid (Ohio) and the debut of Brimstone Coven (West Virginia) featuring members of Entropy and Wilderkin. With five bands it gives a little of a "fest" feel. Should be pummeling!

March Update

The exclusive track we recorded for the upcoming Innervenus compilation, "Prick of Misery" is finished being mixed. It's one of our slower doomers that we've played live on a few occasions, but it has never seen a proper recording. We've recently set up a You Tube channel at http://www.youtube.com/vulturedoom We'll try to keep it updated as much as we can with live and recording footage.

At this time we are still continuing to write and refine songs for our future full length.

February Update

We'll be heading to Akron, OH this weekend to record an exclusive track with James Curl (currently of Complete Failure) for an upcoming compiliation on innervenus which is due out in June.

In the meantime we are continuing to write for our new full length. Recording should commence in the summer once again with James Curl at the helm. Booking will be at a minimum at this time as well.
